#photography Canon launched its Authenticity Imaging System this week — C2PA-based provenance built into the R5 Mark II and R1. The technology is real and the engineering is solid. The implementation is not. It requires paid activation, it's restricted to news organizations, and it launches only in EMEA. I'm grateful Canon is here. I'm disappointed in how they showed up. Full breakdown on the blog. robertjbell.com/blog/canon-s-c2pa-launch-is-real-progress-8779730 #C2PA #CommercialPhotography

#photography Sony World Photography Awards ceremony is Thursday in London. Photographer of the Year announced that night. Worth watching. worldphoto.org #ArchitecturalPhotography
#photography Something worth saying plainly: clients who hire architectural photographers often think they're documenting what a building looks like. What they're actually doing is building the case for why the space succeeds — how scale reads, how light moves through it, how materials hold up under scrutiny, how the sequence of spaces tells a story. The photograph isn't the record. It's the argument. #ArchitecturalPhotography #CommercialPhotography
#photography Architecture MasterPrize 2026 is accepting entries — it's one of the few design awards with a dedicated Architectural Photography category rather than tucking it into a general open section. Early deadline is April 30 for 25% off entry. Final deadline August 31. Past winners include work from Zaha Hadid Architects, Kengo Kuma, Snøhetta, and Álvaro Siza Vieira. architectureprize.com #ArchitecturalPhotography #Architecture

Worth a look if you have work that's competition-ready. photoawards.com #ArchitecturalPhotography #Architecture
#photography The Artist Gallery's 2026 Architecture Photography Contest winners are up. First place: Witsawarut Kekina (Thailand), "The Golden Timber Structure" — repeating timber beams, warm light, a single cyclist. The geometry does the heavy lifting; the human scale makes it land. Honorable mentions are strong this year too. theartistgallery.art/architecture-photography-contest-winners-2026 #ArchitecturalPhotography #Architecture
