@tvaziri I’m super sensitive to it (and i wish I wasn’t!) after years working in post. One thing that made my head almost fall off my shoulders was Amazon Prime app on Apple TV 4K with my LG 4K OLED. It added motion smoothing to a movie in-app despite having Match Content Framerate switched on. I honestly thought it was a creative choice to be 60fps for about 15 mins, then checked the built-in Prime app on my TV and it played at 24 🤯

@mxk @paul hooking up a secondary PSU might be a solution but really crazy when the internal one is, I believe, the same as the 2019 MP so 2,000W. I’ve never come close to using all of that.
I’m just left slightly speechless by the design choices here. They’ve spent a lot of time and effort convincing companies like Maxon and Otoy to port Redshift and Octane renderers to Metal and now there’s nothing they’re selling that can use it well.
