#WordPress question:

Is it possible to disable some of the font weight choices via theme.json?

I don't want the end user to be able to choose one of NINE font weights when the design guide uses 2 weights.

Might end up just disabling font weights:

"typography": {
"fontWeight": false
}

Why does WordPress blocks use margin-block-start for vertical spacing instead of using margin-block-end?

Why, WHY?

Who wants a gap between a heading and the following paragraph?

I prefer to use theme.json as much as possible ...

Workaround to set a favicon separate from the site logo in #WordPress block themes:

Add square site logo via the site editor. Make sure "Use as site icon" is toggled on. Save. Save.
Replace site logo to be shown in the header. Make sure "Use as site icon" is OFF. Save.
Now make sure "Icon" is NOT checked before saving the Header template part.
Make sure it is checked off every time you update the Header template part.

^ This is ridiculous, right?

So just click the "Site icon settings" 😂

Was asked today if I would help update a #WordPress site (WP, theme and plugins) and help edit the content.

This site is only 2-3 years old but I declined.
Why?

Because this one-page site is built with a theme, a child theme, a page builder plugin, two different slider plugins, a SEO plugin. The performance? Slow.

Editing the content would be soooooo tedious!

But I said I'd love to build a new version using a modern block theme. I really would love to!
