I'm considering setting up my own Mastodon instance (it would be solo, just for me) as my instance https://fandom.garden is blocking other instances.

I totally get their reason for blocking them, they just want to protect their users, but as a fan account I want as much reach as possible and I have followers from https://hachyderm.io who will soon not be able to see my posts.

I'm not sure what other people think here? @gardener

My mind is racing now about a possible UNIT spin-off. I really hope the rumour is true.

Can we have it a bit like Torchwood but not so R-rated (it should be accessible to all Whovians even if not aimed at kids), with the UNIT team (Osgood is essential!) encountering extraterrestrial threats and for some reason The Doctor isn’t around.

Have it cross over with the main show for special episodes.

Be right back, going to listen to all the UNIT Big Finish audio dramas now and hope they are canon!
