@atpfm @marcoarment Imagine having to accidentally re-launch Photoshop because you closed your last open file before creating a new one. Or having to re-launch preview becuase you closed the last tiff image you were looking at rather than having the app just waiting ready to go at a moments notice in ram. It's one of my favorite aspects of the Mac as a creative platform. I'd be re-launching Pro Tools all day in that circumstance moving between sessions.

@atpfm @marcoarment Applications remaining open with every window closed just might be my favorite aspect of the Mac, I'd even go so far as to say Dictionary etc shouldn't quit on close.

@imyke just popping on here as a fellow new dad to say thanks for the Mangobaby recommendation it’s working incredibly. Already have a pack of NFC tags en route from Amazon so we can do tap-phone-here Shortcut triggers at the changing station etc.
