"While it falls short of hitting the marks set by some of Shyamalan’s best films, Knock at the Cabin also offers a much more rewarding, entertaining, and fascinating story than his most maligned projects. Life Update: Been quiet due to navigating my first experience w/ Covid. Finally tested negative today, 2wks after waking w/ scary-high fever & horrible body aches. (Fwiw, I tested neg. for days after symptoms began. Tested pos. on Day 4.)
My Covid story was a fever dream of isolation, heavy medication, anxiety, insomnia, and tasteless food. (I still can't taste/smell & get winded easily.)

Sometimes interviews stop feeling like interviews and start to feel like you're just *talking* with some funny, fascinating people. That was the case with Letterkenny's Evan Stern & Tyler Johnston, who chatted with me about their characters, Roald & Stewart, the moment they realized the show was a hit outside Canada, gaming & streaming, and performing live.

The arrival of a new computer meant it was time to rearrange the desk a bit. A smaller monitor meant more desktop space, so naturally, I filled the void with toys.
I currently have R2-D2 and a crowd of robots in disguise (and a random, obscure Marvel Comics character from the '90s) joining me as I begin my first day of work with the new iMac.

Me: *Sigh* "Because I am very old, buddy."
Him: *Shrugs and walks out*
I always have a great time with the Letterkenny cast, but this week's chat with Evan Stern and Tyler Johnston (Roald and Stewart on the series) was full of laughs all around. They're two of my favorite characters on the show and the interview was a fun highlight of the week for me. My job can be pretty wonderful sometimes.
