@siracusa Tahoe is so bad. Haven’t installed the beta yet and this doesn’t encourage me to do so.
@imyke Listened last night and enjoyed it. Good job.
@mikael @marcoarment That was the point I closed the tab, when I couldn’t see the content anymore.
@gruber @al3x cron entry with @ reboot?
@_inside It has confirmed for me that they’re going the wrong way. Making the Mac more touch friendly to allow for the convertible lifestyle would work better. I now have resizeable windows, but none of those windows are of the apps I need to do my job (vscode, terminal, docker, a proper browser, etc).
There should be a guide for Mac users for what Windows gaming laptop to buy when your kid wants to play games, but you don’t want to spend a fortune because you already gave all your money to Apple. cc @snazzyq video idea? (Could cover other topics too, like which other non-Apple products an Apple user would like).

@siracusa This is perfect marketing for non-tech people. The swearing was definitely a surprise, but I think this is the perfect tone for the average Apple user who every year has no clue why their phone just updated. I would happily send this to family members who otherwise would have no clue what was coming.

Good for them for talking like people talk, focussing on benefits and not being techy.

The new personas on Vision Pro are quite the improvement. First time I’ve ever had an avatar actually look like me after a face scan.
@ismh86 He dared to step outside his box.

The first beta is very rough on my iPad. Janky animations, broken transitions.

Windowing feels… wrong? It’s probably what people have been asking for, but the information density is too low. So it feels chunky and ungainly.

I can’t do any work on it anyway without VS Code and Docker so full screen still works for me.
