it's hard to explain to people that software is a fundamentally communal activity because they're like "ohh you're a dev! you must be so smart!" and like. it literally does not matter how smart i am. none of this works at all unless we can collaborate across time and space.

#AndroidDev We just published the Toddler Tiles app on the Play Store at @snappmobile_io 🎉

I enjoyed a lot working on it and I learned how to:
- Use Compose
- Implement IAP
- Use Play Store console, etc.

We would be very happy if you would give it a try.

#Introduction
Hi there, I'm Quinn, a biomedical engineer turned mobile developer. Technical director at Small Planet, a digital agency in Brooklyn, where I've been building apps for over 12 years. I'm very easily distracted by shiny new things.

Current jams:
* Declarative UI
* Baked goods
* Reinforcement learning
* Cats (two torties allow us to live in their apt)
* Statecharts
* Dry Euro boardgames and red wine

"Please," said the man, "can you do magic to make me be kind?"
"No," said the witch. "Magic cannot change anyone's nature."
"So there is no hope for me?"
"You ask the wrong question. Kind is not something you are. It is what you do."
"Is it that simple?"
"It is that hard."

@realitythreek @[email protected] @[email protected] it wasn't "abandoned". Federated chat was intentionally murdered. I've seen the emails.
Look, if we're not here to yell compliments and encouragement at people we probably don't know in real life, what is the internet even for?
