Last knit of 2024! A basketweave sweater for my oldest daughter, out of acrylic (she hates wool). It'll definitely keep her warm! Happy New Year, and may all your knits be joyful! #knitting @knitting
Just finished blocking this year's ARNE & CARLOS knitalong stocking! This one's for Joey, and is just as huge as the last one of theirs I did. It was for his sister, though, so I guess it's good they're the same size. #knitting @knitting
Finished! This is an ARNE & CARLOS pattern, with Gabi's name on top. I think I should have paid more attention to gauge -- this thing is huge! #FinishOrFrogAlong #knitting
I'm not affiliated, but I love Starr Design Fabrics (some gorgeous hand dyes), and they're having a 45% off sale today, in case anyone's in a stash-building mood... https://www.starrfabrics.com/ #quilting #FiberArts

Knitted a trio of sock pairs from a single skein of MadelineTosh Twist Light in Spicy Ramen. (And some leftover black and white Malabrigo Ultimate Sock yarn). My kid Gabi loves spicy ramen, so they're all for her! #knitting @knitting
Made a quilt for the SAQA auction! I called it “Contemplation”. I tried a bunch of new things -- some worked, some didn’t. :D The auction is here if you want to see other quilts and bid on them later this year: https://www.saqa.com/auction #quilting #MastoArt
Benefit Auction | SAQA - Studio Art Quilt Associates

The annual Benefit Auction is SAQA's premier fundraising event! All proceeds help support SAQA's exhibition programs, publications, and education outreach. Plus, your purchase helps increase the recognition for art quilts and the artists who make them.

Finished my huge haunted house quilt! It got kinda wonky, but, well, it's a haunted house. I called it "Bats bats bats" from a hilarious report on bats my oldest wrote in elementary school. Learned a ton, and I love it. :) #quilting #MastoArt
I just finished this quilt for the Cherrywood Fabric Challenge -- they give you the fabric and the theme (Poppy), and you design and make a 20” square quilt. I called it "Needs More Orange," both for the lack of bright contrasts and for having no way to make California poppies. :) #quilting #MastoArt
Finished another sweater! This one is the Save The Bees sweater by EweFeltyThing -- great pattern! I made it in three colors of Miss Babs Yowza. I made it once, gave it to the recipient, and didn't like how it fit her. So I made her a second one in slightly different colors, adjusting the fit and edging, and I'm much happier with this one, though I don't know if she'll notice. Save the Bees Sweater pattern by Ewe Felty Thing

This sweater has been inspired by one of the most important species on our planet – the humble bee. We owe a lot of our existence to this wonderful little creature, and so I wanted to design something to celebrate it.

Made a sweater for Edie from Northwoods Fibers Neon Octopus yarn (it's so great!). You can't see the side and arm cables in the front shot, but the side shot shows one. #knitting @knitting
