Deborah PickettLoss.jpg memes are the opposite of funny. They horrify me. They demonstrate a profound disregard for the mental health of people who’ve had miscarriages. The common defence of them being a mocking of the original cartoonist doesn’t hold sway with me.
I don’t want to hear counteropinions from people unless they have (had) a uterus or have parented a miscarried child.

Oh cool, Aisling Bea is in Australia for some reason and doing some stand up comedy on Friday. Definitely heading to that, she's one of my favourite comedians.
I forgot how accurate the "ciggy butt brain" video is. Both the accent and the junkie behaviour. The latter makes me sad, it isn't this bad in Europe, IMO. Though at least we're doing better than the US I suppose.
I finally have my PC back. By some miracle it all seems to work just fine. People had me freaked out about shipping a water cooled PC across the world, but either I was very lucky, or I shoved enough socks and clothes into and around the PC to protect it from the rough journey.

We're looking for graphics and optimisation programmers, which is the team I work on. I'm very biased, but I think we have a super talented and lovely, caring team. Despite working on different titles we are very close and share our knowledge and expertise (and bad jokes) amongst the team.
