We're an open source #CodeReview and #DocReview product, built for teams of any size (whether 2 people or 200,000).

Review Board works with Git, Mercurial, Subversion, Perforce, Bazaar, Breezy, CVS, ClearCase, Cliosoft SOS, and TFS.

It's extensible, like a browser, letting teams add new features or customize behavior without forking the code. It also provides integrations with many popular team collaboration and CI services.

With #GitHub moving into #Microsoft's CoreAI division, are you sticking around or planning a move?

Most all-in-one products don't focus on code review like we do. If you're planning a move, plan to give Review Board a try.

We offer features nobody else does for helping you build better products, integrate with tools across the industry, keep your code under your control, and we never train AIs from your code.

Remember when we fully owned all our own code?

We used to keep it all in our networks. Accessed only by our teams.

Now it lives on someone else’s servers. Under someone else’s control. Training someone else’s AI.

We’ve traded control for convenience. Consolidated on a few major platforms. Accepted vendor lock-in. Overlooked new innovations.

But this isn't the only way to build.

Own Your Own Code

We’ve handed off control — not just where code lives, but how it moves, who can see it, and what tools we’re allowed to use. Maybe it’s worth asking: Should we take back control of our code? And ho…

One of the things we've built that I think we really got right is DiffX.org.

There really isn't any standard for diffs. Every tool has their own format. We've built a spec and implementation for a universal format retaining backwards-compatibility.

The general idea is that we do what other diff formats do — storing data in the "garbage" areas of Unified Diffs — but standardize the metadata formats, parsing rules, and file encodings.

We've built a new hotbar for your favorite review actions! Customize the buttons you use the most when reviewing.

This is now available in the new RBCommons.com, and will be coming to Review Board 7.1 soon.

Extension authors can build new actions that users can place in the hotbar using Review Board's Actions framework.

We'll be adding new actions to the product over time. What actions would you like to see?
