I love to check the time on my SE/30, courtesy of @retrotheory BigMaclock 😎

#marchintosh

Another #MARCHintosh project, a serial digital multimeter logger program , in this case a UT61E. Its very work in progress and tough work for the 68000 of the Macintosh Plus.
Amber CRT always looks good. #MARCHintosh Running my BigMaclock application, available here https://github.com/retrotheory/BigMaclock

Instead of turning a clock into a vintage Mac, I turned a vintage Mac into a clock!, I though it would be fun given its #MARCHintosh The program can be downloaded here: https://github.com/retrotheory/BigMaclock

It supports US/EU month day order AM/PM, Invert display, 'grey' background and alarm function, it also has dynamic sizing so it will look correct on bigger screens

Sneak peek at a console into your BlueSCSI - these are advanced feature for sure but is the groundwork for some cool stuff planned to allow more remote configuration and management of your #BlueSCSI

Currently allows you to: Eject, Disable, List, Toggle Settings, Reboot

Any more ideas? (1/2)

In internet space no one can hear you eep
Wow! We can now overclock the Performa/LC 475 and Quadra 605 family in software. Even fine tuning the frequency is possible. All without any fiddling with SMD resistors. Amazing it took 30 years to figure this out. Nice work! #vintagemac #retrocomputing
Coming soon to #PicoGUS: MPU-401 emulation simultaneous with other modes like Sound Blaster. Here's Doom with the General MIDI soundtrack playing through my Roland MIDI floppy jukebox and Sound Blaster sfx on the PicoGUS's analog out.

Hopefully I'm not stealing anyone's thunder here by announcing the news - @bitsavers was able to speak to Daniel Kottke in regards to a prototype Macintosh 128 logic board that theoretically had unsecured PALs. (As in, no security fuse set).

Yesterday, they were able to meet up and dump the final LAG.

This morning, @retrotheory was able to convert the PAL dump to a GAL.

And.

IT.

WORKS.

Happy 40th Anniversary Apple #Macintosh
