After much work, Suzi is finally back in action again! 🥰 I've given it three oil flushes so far, and there isn't any noticeable sign of coolant contamination left in the oil, so I'll probably run it on the current oil for a little while, before giving it one final change with decent quality oil.

Also, don't hold your phone and drive, kids. Particularly if your car is a manual 🙃

@themaritimegirl I've dealt with that gross brown flux goo on old CB radios as well. It can start getting both conductive and corrosive over time, leading to numerous issues.

Oh, and nice choice in music - I actually own the Shania Twain album that song is from on CD 🙂

@themaritimegirl So my 2nd youngest brother had driven to my oldest brother's place when it overheated, and he found there was no coolant in the radiator and that the oil was now a milkshake. It was towed back home, and I'm going to be going there as soon as I can next week, and then tear down the engine to see just how badly it's boned. Hopefully no warpage or cracks were done to the head or block, but it's still going to be a lot of work to replace the head gasket and flush out the engine.

My idiot brother has apparently blown the head gasket on my car (or worse, cracked the head or block), as oil and coolant are mixing. I am beyond pissed off at the moment.
