This post is a call for awareness. In a world where it's easier to regard others' bad intentions, and with human urges to raise awareness of them, and a network that carries those messages far and wide, it becomes more important to stay in touch with one another, on an eye-to-eye level.

Every concern should be met with some attention, but it is far too easy to see every imperfection and regard them as irreversible, while the awareness of one's effort to better themself aren't as apparent, or spread as widely.

We would like to see more opportunities for the Fediverse to rebuild those connections. We have had instance admins reach out to us before, prompting us to revisit moderation decisions.

And so, we encourage others to do the same, to reach out, and reconnect communities.
