Finally gave up to the Win 11 nag and initiated an update on the stationary. Only to get a message about it lacking the necessary features. Now it’s running Ubuntu, much better.

@KristerIsaksson fascinerande hur man kan se trevlig ut i pressen med initiativen. Hade ingen aning om hur många gånger de testats, finns det verkligen ingen utvärdering och efterföljande handlingsplan efter något försök?
@Clutha @Shadedlady @dmoser Glad you remember your visit in such a positive manner. I live in Stockholm and even if not every bus driver is as kind as the one you saw the public transport system is working quite well. It is also improving with major building projects. I do live in the center of the city so I’m not all that representative but I gave up my last car in 2003 and have not missed it much.
@Marrekoo @dmoser We are living in a transitional phase and the Norwegians are just moving ahead of the rest of us. They do it at a cost but they will soon also have a market with second hand electric cars that will be more affordable. The prices on electric cars are dropping and will be at par with burners within a couple of years, after that it’s just a matter of time before you can’t afford fossil fuel.
