@mrvanes great suggestion, thanks! Didn't know this website. I'll check it out :)

Hello #3Dprinting & #3Dmodel community! Do you have suggestions for a 3D-print-on-demand platform that ships worldwide?

I make and sell #STL files so people can #3Dprint them at home, but I see these '200GB ULTRA 1,000,000+ STL PACK!!1!' listings everywhere. They are just full of mostly stolen models. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

#Etsy seemingly isn't doing anything against these scams, so I want to sell the 3D prints directly and not the STL files. However, my single #BambuLab A1 Mini isn't gonna cut it by itself... ๐Ÿ˜…

Using a single #Blender file for my high-resolution product renders, kind of makes it look like a #ModernArt sculpture...

If you're interested in the models, have a look at my #Cults or #Etsy stores, links in my bio.

Installed #Linux #Ubuntu on my desktop PC after being completely done with whatever abomination #Microsoft #Windows has become.

Everything works flawlessly, I have found free and #opensource alternatives to all software I regularly use and gaming is an absolute blast, thanks to #Steam and #Proton.

Make the change if you can, it will cost you an afternoon but saves you a lifetime of data being used to train some shitty #AI nobody asked for.

For anyone looking for a current, already proven alternative: I've been using a Fairphone 3+ (from the Netherlands) with /e/OS (from France) for more than a year now and could not be happier. They even sell the newer Fairphones with /e/OS pre-installed.

@calver Thanks for the praise ๐Ÿ˜. The entire scene was hand-made in Blender.

The beach itself is a wavy plane with a sand material from Poliigon.

The Palantรญr is a sphere with three different mixed shaders. I'll post them below ๐Ÿ™‚

@calver it's from 2 different tutorials that I put together into a single render :)
