On November 1, Pixelmator announced that it was being acquired by Apple.

I hope #pixelmator Pro remains essentially the same now that it's being acquired by #apple ; it's far and away the best image editing app I've ever used. If they DarkSky this and discontinue the app I'll be very upset

Fifth Circuit's en banc decision that tweets are protected by First Amendment ignores that the tweet in question was both deceptive and a threat, two traditional exceptions for First Amendment protection. You only know that by reading the scathing dissent. Political judges bending rule of law for political reasons continues our slide towards fascism.
Apple might finally be forced to ship computers with 16GB of RAM as default (2016 called and it’s laughing) but glad to see the dedication to charging truly obscene amounts of money for storage is still alive and well. $600 upcharge for 2TB is a war crime.
I hate giving up access to its WH and Congressional reporting but unless and until the editorial board is permitted to do its job and endorse a Presidential candidate in this Presidential election, I cannot, in good conscience, pay for the Washington Post. I’ll be sending the money to ProPublica.
