@farbel Thanks. A big advantage of Linux include being open source/non-proprietary - like Mastodon. And privacy. Spouse will build me a computer regardless and could go with Linux and/or Apple and/or Windows. My current old system is a Mac Mini with dual iOS and Windows. Still deciding.

@farbel I'm glad you raised this question. My spouse is an experienced programmer and want to build me a Linux system. As a non-techie I'm afraid it might be too much of a learning curve for me. Spouse says no, not so much anymore. I'm skeptical and could use second, third opinions.

@farbel Yes, and that’s huge. They still do good but the mega-corp thing is so outta control in general. Its extreme is the now the Muskverse. So we’re here to resist and flourish in a better way!
