Just spent a few hours trying out website monitoring services. The vast majority had either no IPv6 support or only used IPv6 where there was only an AAAA record.
Finally found exactly what I needed in https://updown.io/r/1sExw
(referral link, I get some extra credits).
Checks both IPv4 & IPv6 connectivity if DNS records present for both and includes warnings for certificate and domain expiry. EU-based. 100,000 checks for free then modest fees. No credit card etc. needed to sign up.
A promotion caused the Octopus Energy UK website to be overloaded this morning. They made some changes to their cloud platform (AWS) and now, as well as being nice and snappy, it finally supports IPv6 on both the website and API.

With the wind picking up Octopus Energy is giving UK customers 2 hours of free electricity tomorrow morning between 7-9.
I've just seen a planning notice (5/2024/1458) for Morrison's supermarket in St Albans, UK to install 636 rooftop solar panels giving 289.38 kWp output.
Hopefully this will get through the planning process quickly and with little opposition (there is already an objection from a neighbour but they complain about an existing issue so it's irrelevant to these plans).
I just got these Octopus SNAP! stickers in the post from #OctopusEnergy.
No cover note so I don't know if they are going to everyone that took part.
I was in the top 500 scorers so it could be for that. Didn't win any prizes mind.
