littlerachybTree tunnel on the balckdowns, where today I went for a short mooch.
Just off to the right here is one of my favourite spots. It's a grove of young tall oak trees. The woodland thins slightly in the grove making it perfect to pause and spot birds flitting through the upper branches.
In the past I've seen nuthatches and tree creepers here. Today I spotted gold crests. Actually saw one doing a humming bird impression, which I've heard they do, but hadn't seen till today.

The uniform was also not accurate for an Icelandic cop but what people found obscene was the idea that anybody would carry a gun around children, even holstered

The curve at right is child mortality in the US over the past 200+ years. Much of the decline you see is due to vaccination.
