Looks like they have 3 different Unlimited Tiers , some of which are speed capped going by their websites/other sites. Has been like that for a couple of years I think.

You must have paid for the Unlimited one with no speed caps. They often try and get you on a capped one these days, by saying its cheaper but not mentioning the speed restrictions

You have to watch those unlimited deals depending on your wants/needs.

Vodafone's unlimited is capped speed wise at either 10 or 100mbit speeds (I don't remember which) but if you had say their 120GB data cap then you can get 800+Mbps download depending on location and time of day
