@Signalrauschen ja, ich verwend selber hauptsächliche LibreOffice, aber unsere Nextcloud hat eine OnlyOffice-Integration, sonst wär's glaub ich auch weniger ein Problem. odt-Dateien mit OnlyOffice öffnen zerhaut mir in der Regel die Formatierung komplett und bei docx halt nicht. Also ich würd da eigentlich gerne @italovignoli komplett zustimmen, nur dass ich da auch bisschen ein Henne-Ei-Problem sehe (wenn mehr ODF verwenden, wird der Support besser; nur solange es nicht besser wird, ...)
@Signalrauschen soweit ich's die letzten Jahre getestet habe, lässt die ODF Unterstützung von OnlyOffice (aber auch Microsoft Office) leider sehr zu wünschen übrig. LibreOffice ist zwecks Formatierung meines Erachtens mittlerweile schon besser als Word (also macht am wenigsten Probleme), aber nachdem's umgekehrt nicht genauso ist, bleibt halt leider nur docx als Format übrig, das mit den meisten Programmen kompatibel ist.
@CodingPhysicist @mcc I'm aware of two alternative (open source) clients: https://github.com/doy/rbw and https://github.com/quexten/goldwarden (though it seems like the latter is not actively developed anymore).
@lina That's one of the reasons I cannot recommend contributing directly to Bitwarden because they too require a CLA. Even if they don't plan to ever switch the license or promise that they will keep it free forever if they ever sell their company there is nothing stopping the buyer from doing that. @Krishnamishra I've been using fish for a while now because I found it a bit more ergonomic even with the cost of readjusting my habits a bit. The main reason is the out-of-box experience not having to customize everything (or depending on something like oh-my-zsh) just so it feels right.
@UmWerker es ist doch besser wenn die heruntergeladenen pakete nicht installiert werden, weil es mit einem partiellen upgrade kompatibilitätsprobleme geben könnte. vgl. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/System_maintenance#Partial_upgrades_are_unsupported
btw: beschädigte pakete können meiner erfahrung nach auch einfach an veralteten keys liegen, also wär meine empfehlung zuerst archlinux-keyring zu aktualisieren und dann das update nochmal zu probieren. vgl. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman/Package_signing#Upgrade_system_regularly
@midtsveen yes, but keep in mind that artists and creators need money to live too and in case of firms relying on piracy to train their LLM it's hard to justify it.
@krasse_eloquenz ich missionier auch nur mehr ungern und belass es eigentlich dabei nicht selber dienste wie telegram und discord zu verwenden und nur mehr über signal für andere erreichbar zu sein (ab und zu empfehl ich noch die verwendung von passwortmanagern). zu linux überrede ich auch niemanden mehr, weil ich ohnehin schon genug it-support mache. also wenn dann bleibt es lediglich bei einer empfehlung, falls ein laptop / rechner zu alt ist für windows 11 oder mac updates...
