Quit my job at nbn, still two weeks of my notice period left. It has been an emotional rollercoaster so far. Never thought I would get so emotionally attached to work, but having a team of amazing people who all support and respect me and each other has been difficult to say goodbye to.
I hope my new job is as rewarding as my last 11 years have been.

@Caal you don't need to do that, but it can help especially if you're on a small instance. Because whenever you perform an action on your instance it can only see the posts on that instance.
Not every server has every post in the fediverse, each server only gets the posts it needs to (because someone on that server follows the poster or is mentioned)
The good thing is once you find someone on another server through their search, you can follow them from your own server. Then their posts will start showing on your server.
