@fullcleared maybe I'm underestimating the differences between economies and currency / wealth differences, but still, SSDs have never been as accessible as they are today. I am also certain that you'll be able to theoretically play Starfield from an HDD, but your gameplay experience will suffer from the very long loading times - an issue that has existed for HDD gamers for many years.
@fullcleared Hm. The post makes an odd point. Why do you need an M.2 drive for mass storage of games when short on cash? Why are we talking about capacities up to 8TB? I have a library of over 100 games installed, many of which are triple A, and haven't even crossed the 3TB line. A normal person will be perfectly able to make do with a 2TB SATA drive, which can be had for just shy of 100 € - just two years ago, prices were closer to 250 €.
@fullcleared are there really that many people left that pull their games from HDDs? The cost for a 1TB SSD is getting smaller and smaller every year, so I'd imagine its withing most people's reach.

#DeathStranding must be the most annoying game I've ever gotten addicted to. This stupid idiot keeps tumbling and falling over the tiniest pebbels and MULEs keep tearing me apart in unnavigateable forests, I'm glad I've not yet broken my controller - but for some godforsaken reason I cannot stop playing. The story isnt even very captivating, but something about it has me hooked.

@ohai just wanted to let y'alls know that the toot translation API endpoint seems to be down. trying to translate a tweet results in a 503.
@AmkiTakk imo greeting each other at the start of a duty is a must. I'd feel bad if i didn't tbh

there's finally some brave and bold experimentation happening in the #edm world (or it might just now be entering my radar).
I am now starting to hear unusual time signatures and complex and dissonant harmonies more often than ever.

some examples are "Matches" by Underbelly (https://youtu.be/OtVnwyuB-GY) and "LOADING" by Cev Aura (https://youtu.be/yDsJLLVxJfw). If you know of more fitting #music, please share so I can add them and the artists to my watchlist.

@RadiantBlack I can confirm the base game runs flawlessly on Linux. Personally I use the xivlauncher by goatcorp, which brings its own wine version and handles the nitty gritty for you.

Only when you get into modding, advanced posing, or combat tracking, it can get a little tricky, since all these third-party tools are developed without Linux in mind. So you're probably gonna be limited to a more or less vanilla version of the game.

@Player1MGA im not sure about the specific diagonals from where a curve makes sense, but I'd argue that any 16:9 screen doesn't need a curve. The bigger it is, the further you have to sit away from it, so it balances out. Only on wide-screen and wider, a curve is an actual feature instead of marketing.
@nachshon_r im not saying that going with "mean to" is wrong. I'm saying that calling the "want to" approach a worse one is wrong. It makes no difference - meaning, intent and response are all the same on both variants. Use whatever you please, but don't pretend that one is better than the other.
