The ozone layer is a layer of the atmosphere that protects us from UV light. Years ago, it was noticed that chlorofluorocarbons in aerosol sprays were aiding in the depletion of the ozone layer, and a hole was detected in this protective layer. After years of regulation and work, the hole is closed.

If you make digital art (and I include music, writing, programming, etc), don't get rid of your old projects. Archive them, put them onto an external drive, or cloud backup systems. You never know when you'll want to expand on it, redo it, borrow from it, etc.

Happy 25th anniversary to this Daily Mail article from the year 2000, proclaiming that internet "may be just a passing fad as millions give up on it".
