I'm one of those very few people who strongly prefer working in a specific location that's not home, or have meetings in person etc etc; otherwise I space out so hard that absolutely nothing gets done.

I really don't think 2026 should be a point where people who are not like this shouldn't get an option. I'm legit happier working in a space with less people who are in turn happier somewhere else.

Thinking about how, if we continue tue way we are, the creatures closest to achieving immortality in modern days, are the commercial clones of highly profitable plants that are primarily grown/sold via propagated cutting. Admittedly their life end the moment it's no longer profitable to keep them alive, but still. It's all this one tree.
