@Frotz aw :( I'm sorry I didn't offer more. I expected more people to chip in!
@neoanderthal I went to go add my patronage... And then saw that I was that $1 you mentioned. 😂
Tomb of Annihilation session 2 in a couple hours. Gotta kick up some action in Port Nyanzaru today. #dnd
@Belchion hell yes, I am all about that creepy/evil Fey stuff

Today was session 1 of my Tomb of Annihilation #dnd game with my usual group of players.

New aspects:
- No more phones or tablets at the table. We used to use various digital tools, but people were too distracted and not engaged (for multiple reasons)
- I pushed harder for defined characters with personalities and situations
- First time running a premade adventure which means I don't have to improv as much.

I think things are going at least slightly better!

I got a big poster-sized printout of the player's map of Chult for ToA and I'm covering it in scratch-off paint (acrylic + dish soap). The players will scratch off hexes as they explore. I'm super psyched about this prop for the campaign! #dnd

I'll post pics later when it's fully prepped & dried.

Yesterday, Marx the Paladin got his hand restrained by a door mimic. After a few turns trying to pull free and failing, I decided to just kick it (unarmed strike for 1 damage), and got the KO. #dnd
Tomorrow is session 0 for my Tomb of Annihilation game and 4/5 of my players still haven't posted their 1-sentence character concepts -_- #dnd
has anyone reverse engineered the Battle Chasers save game yet, so I can avoid the level grinding
@Nosfecatu I am getting pretty jazzed about it! It'll be my first experience with a hex crawl, too, both as DM and player
