The plumeria is really putting on a show this year. It's amazing that just 3 years ago, it was basically a stick in a small pot. One of my wife's work friends was bored in the early days of the pandemic & made a bunch of cuttings for people.
I maybe could've coaxed a few more tomatoes from these plants, but they did their thing and gave us plenty of tomatoes.
Now it's time to see if i can get tomatoes from seedlings before it gets too cold. It usually stays pretty warm here through Halloween, so we'll see.
It's crazy how fast figs ripen on the tree. I checked the tree on Friday and picked everything that was ripe. By Tuesday morning, this handful of figs was almost overripe.
A little bit of a before, during, and in progress.
Pic 1: My vision for this area was totally destroyed by the torpedo/crab grass. My thought was 'hey, planter boxes will keep the grass out'. Nope, they just made the grass harder to deal with.
Pic 2: Roses moved from the grassy hell to the tire planters. Gopher love this area but they don't seem to mess with the roses.
Pic 3: The in progress pic. Looks a lot better, but I have bigger plans. #Bloomscrolling #Gardening #garden #DIY
Chaya Raichik needs to go get a switch from a tree. Her soul is irredeemable. She is a fucking horrible piece of shit.
Filed under things that I was not aware of: Most of the #music that I listen to these days isn't exactly chart topping. When I started listening to #outlaw #country on #siriusxm a few years back, this young man caught my attention.
I had no idea that he was so damned popular with the 20-something crowd. Usually when I go to #americana & #altcountry shows, I'm like right in the median age group. Last night, I was one oldest in the crowd to see Zach Bryan. He was fantastic!
