For the past year, I was supported through an intensive process of organizing my first special issue call, reviewing abstracts, curating an issue, editing, copyediting, proofreading, and production by an amazing team of colleagues - so much energy needed!
We tend to underestimate the back-end work for publications. These efforts must be better appreciated. Beyond gaining a higher level of respect for the publishing process, I am encouraged by other voices and approaches to prioritizing #urbanandindustriallands.
