@theresnotime Anything by Hannu Rajaniemi (especially The Quantum Thief trilogy; great post-singularity scifi). Anything by Iain M Banks (especially "Excession" and the rest of The Culture series, ditto post-singularity). If you enjoy RPG video-/tabletop-games, the Dungeon Crawler Carl series (by Matt Dinniman) is great, and has a widely acclaimed audiobook rendition if you like those. I'm currently enjoying book#2 of the "Children of Time" series by Adrian Tchaikovsky (h/t @ckoerner)
@hankgreen 1. Rooftop solar, so that it benefits residents and not server farms. 2. Plumbing infrastructure, so everyone has clean water. 3. Micro-housing for the unhoused, so everyone has a roof and safety. 4. Libraries and community centers, so everyone has safe and helpful places to learn, collaborate, and be healthy. 5. Medical clinics, so everyone can find healthcare.
@rstevens I'm permanently miffed that "synonym toast" is not a perfect pun (that's a homonym). It was so close!

Bit of a rant from me, in light of von der Leyen talking of "tech sovereignty" today

"If you’re a “thought leader” about anything in European politics, it’s imperative you practice what you preach in terms of the tech you use" 👇

@vrandecic Bidi error? If Firefox, ctrl-shift-x might fix it. That's the key combo for LTR<->RTL

@LucasWerkmeister It's a fairly widespread and standard practice there. E.g. from Special:WhatLinksHere we can see the [[Eagle (disambiguation)]] page has incoming #section-target redirects from [[The Eagle (movie)]] and [[Eagle (film)]] and [[Eagle (song)]].

I cannot quickly identify if/where it's documented in the *many* related Guideline/ManualOfStyle pages.

I believe it's done to both match normal article-titles, plus also help with search autocomplete

"May I have your name?" the faerie said.

"William," she said with a smile.

"Ah ah!" The faerie gave a wicked laugh. "I have your name! Now no-one will call you by it!"

"Thank you," she said.

"To win it back, you must- what?"

"I will find me a new one," she said, "one that suits me better."

@theresnotime the same process is often best for writing content, too! If in doubt, I often look at how a Featured/Good quality article does something. (Or for writing documentation, checking a handful of known-good pages)
@aharoni For more formal mentions, I like and agree with your ideas here. -- On the more informal side... I've heard/seen (and used!) the term "neurospicy" a lot in recent years. Enwiki has a redirect for it to "neurodiversity" but it's sadly not mentioned directly in the article yet. But it's a fun label for self identification!
