Science against SuperReturn!

Die SuperReturn-Konferenz versammelt vom 6. zum 12. Juni 2026 in Berlin private Investoren, die sich zusammentun, um noch mehr Macht- und Geldkonzentration zu erreichen.
Wir möchten klarstellen, warum diese Veranstaltung wissenschaftlich gesehen unsinnig und gefährlich ist. Weil die Finanzlobby die Öffentlichkeit mit leeren Versprechungen von Wohlstand und Fortschritt täuscht, werden wir ein Open-Air-Seminar zum Thema "Vermögen und Umverteilung – wissenschaftliche Grundlagen, soziale Implikationen, globale Wirkungen" anbieten.

Zwischen 16 und 18 Uhr am 8. Juni sind drei kurze Lehreinheiten geplant:
- Alexandra Keiner: Steueroasen und globale Ungleichheit. Wie Steueroasen Reichtum absichern und Steuerlasten verschieben
- Prof. Matthias Schmelzer: Ihr Return, unser Untergang: wissenschaftliche Einschätzungen zu Reichtum und Klimakrise als Klassenfrage
- Jun.Prof. Dr. Matthias Grotkopp: Ungerechtigkeit über Ungerechtigkeit. Warum es notwendig ist exzessives Vermögen umzuverteilen

Online discussions about scientific concepts often bring out something that also runs deep in academia, but usually remains outside the spotlight of public discourse: the personal attachment of people to their ideas.

Planck already said: science progresses one funeral at a time. What he meant: untenable ideas only go away once their proponents die. Rarely are they actually refuted by rational argument or even pragmatist considerations such as their usefulness.
