@0atman@mastodon the cons are not really based on my personal experience. cons are based on people who are less technical. i mean 13 is a pro in a sense that if one server goes down it's only that server. the signup process confuses a lot of people. mastodon will need a community effort to go mainstream. do u think will mastodon be mainstream ? is mastodon for everyone ?

I hope that a lot of these issues will eventually be fixed, but there are many people who are not aware of these problems. They are often automated and driven by their primal desires, which are greatly exploited by popular social media platforms. I don't think these people can escape this hook. Personally, I love Mastodon and I want more people to use it. I am actively trying to convince my friends and family to switch to it.
