An ideal pickup line, to me, is one that has a chance of establishing a rapport over a shared interest, while not coming across as *too* weird/creepy in the event the other person doesn't actually share that interest.

For example:
"You remind me of the babe."

For another example:
"Hey, did you know the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV Online has an expanded free trial up to level 70, now including the award-winning Heavensward and Stormblood expansions, with no restrictions on playtime?"

Waiting to get my blood labs drawn at a place that also has a weight loss clinic and they have a screen in the waiting room that shows, among other things, testimonials

One of which talked about how they "broke the shackles that food has on me" and how great it is to "live free from food"

and I'm over here like, "I too am stifled by living in a vessel of flesh. Imagine how much money and time I could save if I didn't require food!"
