Haven't mentioned it here when I paused my birdsite, but I'm on a hiatus from social media for a few months. Felt like I was talking more than actually writing... hopefully this break helps.

On one hand, I'd like to have cat videos on here to browse and improve mood... on the other hand, do we want this place to become as cluttered as BirdSite?
Currently reading Stephen King's Fairy Tale, am about 200 pages in. Is it just me or does this feel a bit like wish-fulfilment? An older man who literally has a source of magic + wealth that the world is unworthy of handling. Meeting a boy/disciple who's capable, and who will take forward the legacy the right way. And the old man can now die happily...
Once I might have thought the magic well was drugs (sorry Mr. King), but now maybe it's just creativity?
