Thrilled Modern Web Guidance is now out, keeping quiet has been SO HARD! 🀐

I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with Google on this project as a domain expert consultant over the past few months, and have seen firsthand the level of thoughtfulness and genuine care for developers and the web platform that has gone into it. ❀️

It’s still very early days, but I’m proud to have played a small part, and excited for what's next. Looking forward to seeing what folks build!

Before publishing we did a big round of accessibility improvements to the site (with a few more coming this week)

I pay for a subscription to MDN, because just for the record it is fucking awesome and the people who maintain it are just as fucking awesome.

Don't Outsource Your Understanding

Outsourcing the work to AI is fine. Outsourcing the understanding is where it breaks. A 150-year-old law firm learned the difference in front of a federal ju...

Flawless execution and beautiful too

Doug Ford should have asked permission of voters to buy them a jet for their premier. Don't whine about the media reporting on it.

While you're at it, scrap that anti-access to information for the premier's office communication.

If there's an office we can't trust, apparently it's his.

State of AI 2026. Devographics launched a new survey focused on how developers use AI tools, models, and coding assistants in their daily workflows. The survey covers topics like code generation, prompt engineering, AI-powered testing, and model preferences. It takes about 15-20 minutes to complete and will help map the rapidly evolving landscape of AI in software development. #ai #survey
