Well… made the decision to produce future videos using my iPhone instead of investing in another camera. Haven’t done any filming yet but keen to see if this works out…

Advice needed. It’s been a while since I’ve made videos. Life has gotten in the way. Rugby, surgery, buying a house.

Well. I wanna invest more time into it now I’ve got more time and more energy.

Was considering getting a new camera to replace my Sony A6400. But after discovering my iPhone 16 Pro can do direct to SSD.

For YouTube, is it worth going for better cameras or is an iPhone with some kit attached just as good of an option?

Currently learning Python through CircuitPython. Given no experience managed to build a basic clock that shows the time from GPS corrected to my time zone. I’m sure there’s many who will think “how cute” but I’m pretty happy. Because this is for a car, I want to try and get screen dimming happening via some sort of headlight input. Ultimate end goal is to design a PCB to put it all together on.

Not usually one to post on politics. But I’m deeply disappointed that Australians couldn’t make one step towards better recognition and outcomes for our Aboriginal brethren this weekend.

I am sorry that our nation is so scared of any progress. I hope despite this, that it at least inspires people to keep the march towards progress going forward.

Very long shot, but a Michael MJD video inspired me to ask the fediverse if they might know where I can find a copy of an old #wysiwyg web page editor. I think it was named Cool Page Editor or something along those lines and it ran on Win 95. It was a drag and drop editor more like Microsoft Publisher than it was like Word or most desktop editors of the time.

Had this keyboard for about 7 years now. Been my main work keyboard for about 6 with 4.5 of those in the office. Some keys so worn I could see the imprint of the stalks.

Finally put new key caps on, and removed the years of grossness.
