DeltaForce 65: Das Wilde Keyboard

One of my all time favorite brands is Metadot’s Das Keyboard. They typically don’t include all the bells and whistles, but they are built so well. But what if a Das Keyboard had all the current extras?

@collabora @CollaboraOffice and still waiting for a package from @dreamhack but won't make any bigger orders before i go to @lemonzest and being in England instead of Sweden for a bunch of weeks

so order from #daskeyboard etc have to wait

I've tested hundreds of keyboards and the 20-year-old classic Das Keyboard has held up better than any - how do modern ones compare?

You know you're back in the office for the day when you bring in your #DASkeyboard again. Clickity clack!

Don't get me wrong, I'm a #DasKeyboard fan—heck, I'm typing this on a Das Keyboard—but I'm mystified and amused by the fact that they just sent me a "How did we do?" survey about a customer support ticket that was filed and resolved _nearly nine years ago_.
That's a pretty impressive screw-up. I wonder how many other people they sent those emails to.
The amazing thing about computers is how dramatically they expand the scope of things that could go wrong.

Been using it for a while now. As a #daskeyboard user, I have to say this is the best one yet for me. Not as “clicky” but still a well constructed and rock solid build. https://mastodon.social/@appleinsider/113082700971893806

I bought a Das Keyboard 4 last month, and I’m loving it!

There is one feature that makes me smile every time I use it: the sleep button. Never thought it would be so useful with a PC, specially with my system consuming <2W during sleep. Also the USB hub is quite handy.

It definitely made me use my PC more

My take on the Metadot #DasKeyboard 6 Pro. Plus we’ve been given some pre-#PrimeDay #promo codes (no kickbacks to us, just a treat for our readers), if you decide you want one. https://reviews.ofb.biz/sa1225 https://mastodon.faithtree.social/@ofb/112753417099562071
Das Keyboard 6 Professional

A couple of years ago, Metadot released the Das Keyboard 6 Professional and the MacTigr in short succession. I’ve previously reviewed the Mac-centric MacTigr, and liked it, but what about the more “normal” successor to the Das Keyboard line? Let’s take the 6 Pro for a “test type.”

Apparently this was *intentional* from DasKeyboard??

So, update. This might not be a #Gnome problem at all. Rather it seems that the right Super key is just dead on this #DasKeyboard Pro 6. I installed Input Remapper and couldn't get anything from record, so I did libinput debug-events and also got nothing at all when I pressed it. How weird.
