In a radical move, Kerala Gov has setup Troponin T analysers in Gov Hospitals across the state. It would help to detect heart failures at a much earlier stage. Patients would get the right treatment in the golden hour. The move would reduce death rates due to heart failure. Kerala model of healthcare involves strengthening & modernising the infrastructure of public health facilities. This would make better quality health-care universally accessible. A model for other states to follow.

2. Govt. of Kerala has appointed a judicial review committee headed by Retd. J. P.S. Gopinathan on 05.01.2018 to review UAPA cases. The said case has not come in front of the committee.
