I’m a father, gamer, music fan and stationary enthusiast. I intend to write about these topics, and connect with other people. I’m a pretty shy person so the latter is going to be a challenge.
I’m also trying to get healthier, be more patient and overall be a better human. I’m not sure how much I want to share about these efforts, but maybe I’ll mention them from time to time.

New #FountainPen Day! A Franklin-Christoph Model 31 Omnis in FC-IG-1. The nib is a medium stub which I have never had before.
I filled it with Sailor Fuji which matches pretty well.
Today's #FountainPen is a Montegrappa Elmo in Sea at Dusk with a medium nib . The ink is Sailor Miruai.
The Montgrappa Elmo is a great pen. It feels balanced in the hand without the cap posted. The nib is smooth and lays down a (relatively) wide, wet line.
Miruai is a subtle and dark green-black. It has a dark sheen on Tomoe River that doesn't show on other papers.
Made a mess cleaning and filling pens today, but the fun is worth the inky fingers.

This pen looks with great transparent inks sloshing around in the inside.
✍🏻Copper Chloride is a great ink to show off in a pen like this. It goes down easily and is well behaved.
