And earlier that day, while I was making breakfast, he threw two items from the floor onto the hot pan, and after I’d finally made my breakfast, put his foot on my egg whites.

Snippets of motherhood - the good, the bad, and the poopy - for me to look back on.
If someone asked me today if they should have kids, I would say yes yes yes. Run don’t walk (onto your partner’s peen). Kissing the little toddler’s fat cheek, but the feeling of my lips having to really travel a distance bc that cheek is so squishy. Cuddling with the big toddler, whose cuddling skills have really improved, from her snuggling up to me in the mornings, to wanting to be rocked after bath, and laughing so hard when I made the lamb towel puppet fart in her face. Heart full.
Kids are fucking exhausting.
