Portraits of Welsh miners and their relatives are on display in the exhibition Kings of the Underground at the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea

I have a cartoon in the current Private Eye.

Can’t seem to add image description on my ipad, my apologies. I’ll see if I can append it.
Also, apology no.2 for cross-posting on twitter and Instagram - what am I like?!

Image description: Cartoon, simple line drawing of a small whale singing into a microphone. The words: "And then I saw her fins, now I'm a beluga".
Apparently this made lan Hislop groan.

I'm a big fan of late evening forest walks.

The light isn't great for photography, but personal experiences are second to none.

This deer isn't really looking at me in this picture. I was in a full ghillie suit & hidden in a bush. A fox sprinted 6 feet in front of me - between the deer and my hiding spot - chasing a hare.

Didn't get a chance to capture the fox or the hare, but look at this pretty lady 😊

You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/ESHHPnXi4r8

I tried uploading directly to Mastodon but that didn't work so a YouTube link will have to do...

Enjoy!

Failed Home Secretary Suella Braverman, who has peddled far-right narratives to demonise asylum seekers, admits that THERE ARE NO SAFE AND LEGAL ROUTES for asylum seekers from most countries where people are persecuted

The 'best' way in is in an unsafe dinghy in rough, cold seas

Have finally finished my diploma to become a Specialist Teacher in Dyslexia and Specific Learning Difficulties after 14 months of hard slog! It may not seem much but I also teach full time in a Special Needs school, have a family to look after and at 56 I thought I was past it. Just shows. Never too old to do something you really want to do!
