I've been toying with #ChatGPT this week and I have to say...wow! I took some of my standards and asked it to create lesson plans, quiz questions, review games, reading passages, fill-in-the-blank questions, thinking maps, outlines, and so much more. What are your thoughts? If you've used it, tell me how. #EduTech #edutoot #education
Just spent the day trying to learn how to use HTML to create tabs in @CanvasLMS and I’m ready to pull my hair out. I have the basic code and did create the tabs and even added content. My question: is all the content on each tab supposed to be visible on the same page? I think I’m realizing that tabs≠separate pages. Ugh. #Canvas #Edutooters #teacher #k12

Christmas break is the most wonderful time of the year for students, right? Not for all of them. As teachers, we know that many students dread the thought of Christmas break. They may feel like they have nothing to look forward to or worry about not being able to get through the break without their teachers.

Here are a few tips for helping your students get through some difficult times during Christmas break:

  • Talk to your students about their feelings. Let them know that it’s normal to feel a range of emotions during Christmas break and that it’s okay to be happy, sad, excited, and scared all at the same time.
  • Help your students find ways to stay connected to their school community. This could include staying in touch with their classmates via social media or email, participating in online discussions, or watching class videos or reading assignments.
  • Encourage your students to take care of themselves both physically and mentally during Christmas break. This could include getting plenty of sleep, eating healthy foods, and spending time with friends and family.

Can I ask you to do two key things:

    1) Reshare other people’s posts - so your timeline is rich with other people’s posts for anyone browsing your content to discover.

    2) Follow, follow, follow. That goes for following those posting good stuff - and also following those that follow you (as much as practically possible/sensible).

If you do these things, you’ll help us all network up at fast pace - and we all grow our voices & reach. ✌️
