@glennf And all sports section articles seem to be from "The Athletic", meaning a regular NYT subscription has no sports news. Bonkers!

Though you wouldn't know until you click an article. That's so disappointing.

@hotdogsladies (I actually bought the cd single back then! Not the album though, was seemingly not mature enough to appreciate them all the way)
@hotdogsladies Such a great song. I remember vividly how it felt hearing it for the first time.
@alexsereno You're right! Though i think apps priced at $1/install are a bit of an outlier these days, and with the fee kicking in after a revenue of one million a cheap app with a small following should be safe. Over all I like their new rules - i expected them to try to enforce their 30% or 27%) cut outside of their Appstore as well. Curious to see how it all shakes out!

@alexsereno @viticci
I think this might be a bit misleading:

I read this as making $1/install. I assume in this scenario you'd likely stay in the app store and pay 30%. If the app cost was $10/user/year, wouldn't the cost go down to 60k / 6%?

@caseyliss @imyke @joesteel
I would strongly recommend Fantastic Mr Fox and Moonrise Kingdom. They're both really easy to get in to and so full of joy and wonder. (Moonrise might also be considered a bit sad though..)
@imyke @joesteel @caseyliss
I loved it, butI found it his most conceptual/ philosophical, and not necessarily a "fun" watch.. Adults are stuck, children are potential, dreams are more lifelike, and everybody is just trying to get by. I know, I'm simplifying! But I do see him changing as a director, going from touching & feely plots with strongly conceptual visuals to being more and more conceptual, minimal and philosophical as a whole. Though the themes still seem similar.
@viticci So happy to hear! I love it so much. I know it got drowned out by all the other exceptional games last year, but I think it's really special. Starts a bit linear, which is odd, but changes pace fairly quickly.

@relay @viticci - will you give #FF16 a try?

Love Sea of Stars. Zelda, Mario and BG3, but FF16 was my absolute highlight this year. So much fun! And amazing/touching old school FF flourishes here and there. Truly a top three FF title.
