I'm a superfan of #precure, an all-ages magical girl metaseries by Toei that's been running since 2004, with over 900 episodes.
I write SF & Fantasy, have a couple stories published, but my commute currently makes that more difficult.

Anime Robots Are People Too- the Japanese Approach.
Japan has a different attitude to robots than the West. Instead of Frankenstein and Terminator “Do not play God and create life” themes, Japanese have the Shinto/Buddhist animist idea that mountains, rivers, animals, and artificial objects have their own spirits and are non-human persons. Let’s look at some series with a different view of non-human intelligences and ethics!

The Tokyo Anime Awards Festival released the results of their November poll of best anime. 120,995 votes cast. From the results I think it's largely from adult anime fans.
The results are completely different from what you see in Western polls.

My new AMD graphics card wasn't doing the do on Linux Mint. A powerful computer struggling to run a ten year old game is not good.
So, I learned how to check drivers on Linux. Then, I downloaded a new kernel. Rebooted, made a Timeshift (back up image of the entire drive in case of drama), created a new folder and, in Terminal, found the .git repository for the amdgpu drivers.
Downloaded and pointed the to right folders, a quick preference tweak, another reboot, and now I'm running super a fancy game at 120 fps.
