I'll join you there then. Well that's if I can work out how to do the account transfer:-)

Also @ellie Thanks for all your work keeping this instance going up until now.

That reminds me that I must get my old clock going again. It has a really loud tick that everyone else hates but being deaf I like as I can, just, hear it.

It stopped on the 4th Sept 2010 at 4.35am for reasons you can probably guess.

After that I kept putting off starting it again but you've inspired me to do so. Now where I put the winding key...

@Valheru You'll have to update your handle to "Valheru Rides Again"
@Valheru For the Brass Monkey rally (a winter rally) I used to make sure I always camped downwind of some Goldwing owners on the basis that they would always have a massive tent that would act as a windbreak for mine.
@Valheru My last one was called Oates, after Captain Lawrence Oates on the basis I often misquote him by saying "I am just going out for a ride and may be some time"

@Valheru
Good turn out of bikes of all sorts.

You can always spot the Goldwing section of any motorbike rally. They're the ones with the gazebos, chairs, fridge, kettle.

@jik
I used to check and oil mine once a week, regardless of the weather.

Bike three onwards I got a Scott Oiler and have used them since on any chain drive bike, though obviously still needed to check the chain/sprocket condition and the tension regularly.

The whole chain maintenance thing is also why I've had three shaft and two belt drive bikes:-)

Woohoo got my TT2000 goodies in the post including the gold TT10 badge for completing the event for the 10th time. 🎉. Can't believe I've done 10 of these, doesn't time fly when your having fun:-)
@DrewCommins I particularly like the front end on that, mind you I also like how the rear rim seems to float above the hub from this side.

@DrewCommins
Can-am have been promising an electric version of their Spyder for at least 10 years so 4 years is fast in comparison. Their two electric motorbikes have also been almost released for quite some time now as well.

I don't think the LiveWire ever made it to New Zealand, certainly I've never seen one in the flesh.

The question now is, are you trading it in for another bike and if so what?
