Meanwhile Trump is fighting solar and pushing coal. The Chinese call him 特朗普, "Comrade Jianguo". Literally this means "Comrade Building the Nation". It's a joke about "Make America Great Again". It hints that Trump is actually helping China.

TIL about the super cool phenomenon of supercooled freeze pop popsicles when my son took one out of the freezer in a still liquid form and we watched it crystalize after he squeezed it. Physics is amazing!

I see from the "Mayday"episode currently playing on the Real Disaster Channel that the Embraer involved in the de-icing boot bridging myth crash HAD WINGS CURVED BOTH TOP AND BOTTOM.

According to all the Bernoulli principle brainiacs out there, this wing should not work.

I imagine the Coanda effect cerebrals might still explain it, but would have to explain why the curved underside doesn't result in a reverse lift downwards! ...
