Testing out Openvibe, so let's see how this cross posting option works. I dabbled with Mastodon, bluesky, and threads, but was never sold on any one of them as there were too many apps. Openvibe seems to help with that. Here are some photos from a dog walk this morning.
An interview with South African photographer Chris da Canha at his studio in Seoul. We talked commercial and personal work, coming from street photography, and new projects he's working on over the coming year.

Also found audio of a drinking chat with Say Sue Me and Barbie Dolls from 2016. Semin, Casey, Sumi, and the distant mumblings of Il Du in the background, too. Cindi hosting, but not sure if we ever shared it or not.
I just found audio files of 6 different interviews I have no memory of doing in 2017. Looks like I had a whole podcast idea developed. No idea what happened there.
A little behind the scenes vlog from the 48 hour short film contest in Daegu at the start of the month, and some musings on rebuilding creative community post-covid.

This #filmphotography shot of #haeundae popped up on my archive site this morning. It was a bit of a shock to see what the beach used to look like, and why I used to like it there.

The second photo is from an online search, and shows the absolute monstrosities that dominate the beach now.

Even at that time, I hated the tall apartments on the hill. They look tiny in comparison to the new beasts.

I've been following Junsabor for a while now, and this #seoul based #photographer who primarily works with #filmphotography. He's shot chaotic #punk shows in Seoul, and created beautiful #mediumformat portraits.

I was fortunate enough to have an #interview with him in his home studio. It was his first ever interview, and despite the nerves he spoke well about his work. While Junsabor speaks in Korean, there are English subtitles in the video. Watch it on #youtube here:

And my co-planner Boipelo also had a great feature in Platform Magazine, introducing some of her favorite #korean artists, musicians, and films, as well as previewing the contest.
