A tired queer adult who likes to draw stuff. Mostly OCs... which are mostly women.
I've also been known to do some game modding. Mostly for Baldur's Gate 3.
My interests are varied but I tend to like sci-fi, fantasy, & horror things.
Current Fixationidk man I'm tired

Designing characters is hard :(

Been trying to work on Fionne and like. I like the criss-cross straps across her chest and the almost off the shoulder collar, and the Circle of The Crossroads symbol I came up with as a sorta belt brooch thing.... but the outfit overall as it is is simply not doing it for me.

Fionne studied the line between sleep and death, frequently crossing that line many times before her actual death (which I've been kinda toying with the idea that she was decapitated; idk why it would happen, I just need a reason for her to have died so Kiernan & Sylvana could find and resurrect her). Like many wizards, she is an academic; the Circle of The Crossroads is a bunch of wizards whose interests all lie within the ideas of liminality and intersectionality so they aid each other in their research.
Fionne is very self-assured and open minded. I've imagined a sort of dynamic between Kiernan, Fionne, and Glen being "the world sucks", "the world is complex", and "the world is just" respectively. Fionne is empathetic and able to look at a problem from different angles and although she is prone to getting caught up in details she is quite capable of realizing this and forcing herself to take a step back and see the bigger picture.

Apparently it's been nearly a year since I first started working on designing Kiernan and only tonight did I finally do her skirt.
There's also been some various other tweaks I've done every so often, plus after actually blocking in a skin tone it made the rest of her design seem VERY low in contrast so I pushed the values a bit (though admittedly I kinda like the old value range better, had more of a tired vibe, so idk maybe I'll squash the range back).

EDIT: I did squish the value range just a little, also removed the bit of the blouse that poked out below the corset because it just felt too princess-y.

2025 art summary! Template by waterblazek

I didn't draw a whole lot this year (in my defense, I did finally get a job at the end of July), and most of what I *did* draw didn't get posted because I just haven't really felt like writing image descriptions & I would feel guilty if I posted without those so. Yeah.

Okay so the captions on Dropout shows can be rather hit or miss, but transcribing the word "ennui" as "en huit" certainly was a bonkers choice given that "ennui" is relatively common to hear in English compared to the French word for "eight".
:)

Went looking for a cool pose to draw my Lavellan in and Adorkastock didn't disappoint!

Trying to figure out how Vhenira, my goth Dalish mage inquisitor, looks is rough because most vanilla & mod options just don't quite fit & getting edited meshes in game is a nuisance. But! This will do for now.

Was cuddling on the couch this morning with one of my plushies & decided to tuck it in before I left for work.
Then when my s/o got home from work he sent me this lmfao

Me: Okay I made a lot of progress in Hollow Knight yesterday, I might even be past the halfway point? I'm about 42 hours in, I'll look up how long it generally takes to finish.

Howlongtobeat.com:

I feel like I've seen something like this before but I've just had this image of a feathery dragon (wyvern?) thing with a long neck & a mask in my head as one form of a god of... oblivion? The unknown? I haven't decided. The idea is definitely inspired by The Raven Queen as well as d20's Cassandra (particularly before she became "Cassandra").

I almost never draw anything other than human-like people, so suggestions of things I could look at for reference/inspiration for this thing are welcome.
