Art In Lov Residence, in cooperation with the city of Loviisa, is organising a concert on Saturday, 25 February at 7 pm in Loviisa's Seurahuone (Kuningattarenkatu 24, Loviisa, Finland).
The concert features resident artists Gleb Logvinov (percussion), Anastasiia Lerman (soprano), Alexander Dzhurri (trombone), Dmitri Saetovich (violin), Vitalii Schumkin (piano) and Alexandra Petrova (cello). The artists wish, via music, to thank Loviisa!
Soon after the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the Andy Warhol Foundation made a generous donation of $100,000 to AR. We would like to express our great respect and appreciation for this highly important and timely donation in support of artists and cultural workers affected by the war!
AR has received a huge number of applications from Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian and Afghan artists and helped many!
The grant has been put to good use!

In this exhibition, Suva brings together the struggles and uncertainties he has experienced as an immigrant artist in Finland with an appreciation of the fundamental role wood plays in local traditions, history and culture. Through the installation, he hopes to communicate a particular awareness of the deeply rooted injustices and inequalities in Finnish society to his audience.
