I'm at @ottawasystems tonight, listening to someone give a great overview of SpiderMonkey and all the components that go into it, along with what TC39 is and how it works. Great overview and I definitely learned some things.

they also just launched a new $60CAD/yr tiny vm package

that is three and a half american bucks per month yall. that's 3/4 of a tall (small) iced caffè latte! it's competitive with the barrel-bottom junk i used to rent elsewhere

We've just hit merge on the PR for updating the website and sent out email invites to people who signed up previously: Ottawa Systems is happening again!

Without intending it, we've booked it for one year to the day of the first event: 24th March 2026.

Once again it's going to be at Bayview Yards: we thought the venue was great last time and I hope you agree.
